Customer Logistics Manager - Transportation Management

We are looking to add a Customer Dispatch Manager to our team in London. You will be responsible for all the JIT Scheduling for our London hub.

Requirements / Exigences

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Automotive/Transportation industry
- Must be customer focused with demonstrated leadership/ interpersonal skills and strong communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Expert user in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong ability to work with others (customer, carriers, & Ryder) 

Responsibilities / Responsabilités

  • Schedules all transportation trips (200 Drivers & 150 Tractors)
  • Completes and responds to communications related to the scheduling of transportation trips
  • Collaborate with customers regularly to enhance service, communicate performance and anticipate needs
  • Execute planning processes and activities consistent with defined procedures and management direction
  • Will manage the Dispatch team (12 dispatchers, and 2 Logistics Supervisors)
  • Evaluate, quantify, and present opportunities for continuous improvement at assigned account(s)
  • Work cohesively with all Ryder internal Subject Matter Experts including Sales, Transportation Management Center, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Excellence, Marketing, Pricing, Finance, & IT.
