    The AZ Cross Border Driver - Pool Position will be responsible for transport and delivery of freight to company, supplier and/or customer locations.
     
    Unique Job Structure:  Will be assigned to a specific account covering vacations, leaves of absence, on peak demands, etc.  Could be assigned to a route for 1 week to an indefinite number of weeks depending on business requirements.  Flexibility is required.
      
    Rate of Pay:  Average pay of $1,100 / week for 50 hours worked (extra hours will be paid at a per km and hourly stop rate)
     
    Hours of Work: Flexibility Required
     
    CDN/US Routes:  FAST or CDRP is required

    Requirements / Exigences

    - Must hold a valid drivers license (AZ) Air brake endorsement for license
    - Valid Fast Card
    - Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience
    - Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision
    - Must be able to drive in all weather conditions
    - Must have customer service/delivery experience
    - Good communication skills

    Responsibilities / Responsabilités

    • Operates a single or tandem axle truck (tractor-trailer combination unit) for the purpose of picking up and/or delivering freight from customer, supplier and/or Company locations within U.S. and Canada
    • Oversees all functions of the vehicle, such as condition of equipment and loading/ unloading of freight
    • Completes documentation pertaining to driving and delivery duties (i.e. log book, equipment inspection reports, records distance traveled, verifies and completes customer paperwork)
    • Unloads freight picked up from customer and/or company locations utilizing material handling equipment when required
